History
The Malvern Cricket Club was formed in 1859 and is recognised as one of the oldest clubs in Victoria. The club calls the Malvern Cricket Ground home. It has played at the picturesque ground nestled behind the Malvern Town Hall since its formation which is unique to only a handful of clubs in metropolitan Melbourne

In 1908 Malvern became a foundation member of the Victorian Sub-District Association (VSDCA) and all four senior elevens currently participate in the VSDCA. The club has enjoyed significant success winning 30 premierships - an Association record. Eleven of those premierships have been won by the 1st XI including a premiership in its Centenary season 1959/60, back-to-back premierships in 2009/10 and 2010/11, and most recently the 2013/14 premiership.
