Senior Head Coach - Brendan Adams

The Malvern CC is pleased to announce the appointment of Brendan Adams as Head Coach of the 2023/24 season.

Tangles, as he is affectionately known to all in cricket, brings a wealth of Premier cricket experience having played for 12 seasons with Richmond including 20 x 1st XI games. He comes to the Roosters highly recommended as a quality cricket person by good friends Rickars/Mick Mckenna/Andrew Fekete and by his own admission would be playing for Malvern if his body would allow him. Thankfully Tangles has put up his hand for the next best thing in cricket if playing is not an option as he simply loves cricket and the club environment. The planets have aligned in terms of Tangles time and availability and we jumped at the chance.

Tangles main brief will be to bring some structure and professionalism to our pre-season, Tuesday and Thursday training sessions and actively promote player development across all 5 x senior teams. We are very excited with the appointment and see it as another key plank in the leadership structure for 2023/2024.

On behalf of everyone connected with our club I welcome, Brendan, wife Alex and youngster Hugo to the Rooster family.
